The Edge Academy will host the EIGHTH annual Baseball College Exposure Camp! This one day event is hosted by The Edge Academy and run by coaches from TOP New England-based Colleges/Universities. This is something that is unique to our event. Most camps are either showcase or development based, our Exposure Camp offers both! This is a great opportunity for players to show off and improve their skills.

WHO: High School age players (14-19) - limited to 75 players - first-come-first-serve
WHEN: Sunday, January 15th 2023

WHERE: The Edge Academy - 512 Warren Avenue, Portland, ME 04103
COST: $300 for the camp & with two different recruiting video options for an additional cost (see below for more info)

Evaluations:

Every player will go through a "pro-style" workout. This will include Pitchers throwing bullpens (with radar), infielders throwing from shortstop, outfielders throwing from centerfield, all position players running a 60 yard sprint, and all hitters getting a HitTrax report (exit speed, launch angle, hard hit average). This is our showcase portion of the event.

Position Specific Work:

In addition to the showcase, each player will have the opportunity to work with some of the most knowledgeable baseball minds around. Players will split into groups for primary position skill development. This segment of the night is run by the college coaches. Coaches will be hands-on when teaching different techniques and drills they use on a daily basis at their own programs.

The Exposure Camp will be limited to a MAXIMUM of 75 players and will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. This will ensure a great player-to-coach ratio.

Registration Cost & Add-Ons:

Players have three (3) options to choose from:

1) Showcase and camp only

Players will get the full days of evaluations and development. The cost is $300.


2) Showcase, Camp and 1-skill recruiting video:

Players will get the full day of evaluations and development. After the event is over, players will then do a separate workout, which will be recorded, edited and made into a recruiting video for that individual to use in the college recruitment process. A 1-skill video would be for single position player (i.e. Pitcher OR Outfielder - which includes hitting).

The cost is $475 ($300 for the event and $175 for the video)


3) Showcase, Camp and 2-skill recruiting video:

Players will get the full day of evaluations and development. After the event is over, players will then do a separate workout, which will be recorded, edited and made into a recruiting video for that individual to use in the college recruitment process. A 2-skill video would be for multi-position players (i.e. Pitcher AND Outfielder).

The cost is $525 ($300 for the event and $225 for the video)

***Due to new NCAA rules, Division 1 coaches will not be able to recruit off-campus at this time. As a result, we WILL live stream the event as well as email all results (pitching velocities, exit velocities, 60 times, etc.) to the all schools upon request. We are also incorporating top scouting services and Team USA reps, who are vastly used as resources for D1 schools, to evaluate players.***
